DIY - Halloween Coffee Cup

Morning coffee is better with the right cup! I’ve been doing lots of halloween crafts but this one if possibly my favorite. I saw the ‘hocus pocus i need a coffee to focus’ saying floating around online and I decided to make my own version of it. I have to say it adds a bit of delight to my morning routine PLUS I got to use holographic vinyl I’ve had laying around for months.

So how do you make this custom cup?

Heres what you’ll need 

• A cup or mug of your choice

• Cricut holographic vinyl

• Transfer paper

• Cricut maker

Step 1 Gather your supplies

Gather your vinyl, cup, transfer paper, mat and start up your Cricut machine

Step 2 Open Cricut workspace and create your graphic

Being a graphic designer I had to give this graphic my own touch so I went to google to find the perfect font.

Step 3 Print graphic

Prep your graphic to print in the cricut work space. I used lots of washi tape to hold this holographic paper down since it didn’t want to stick to my mat.

Step 4 Transfer the graphic

After weeding your graphic youll then be ready to transfer it to some transfer paper. Clearly I didn’t place my paper in the right place but I made it work (see s hanging off)

Step 5 Add it to your mug or cup

Carefully line up and place your graphic on to your mug. Press down on it so that it transfers completely and then peel the transfer paper back.

That’s it your done!

Fill your mug or cup up with some coffee and enjoy!
