Easter Crafts - Easter Egg Holder

Easter is on April 9th, 2023 this year. I cant wait to get started on some Easter crafts to celebrate. For the second craft in my series heres a Easter egg holder you can create to add a personal touch to this years Easter basket.

Heres what you’ll need

  • Some cardstock (i used white, pink and craft paper for my bunny)

  • Cricut maker with fine point blade attachment

  • StandardGrip mat

  • easter eggs

  • tape or glue

1. Start by creating your graphic

I started by creating my graphics in illustrator and saving it as an .svg. After that I imported it into cricut design space as 3 different cut layers.

2. Cut graphic

Place your cardstock on a light grip mat and cut your graphics out. You’ll have to do some weeding to get all of of the bunny details out.

3. Score it

Score the sides of the pink paper so that you can fold into a box.

4. Assemble

Using some glue or tape, layer the cutouts on top of each other.

5. Glue Ears

Finally, glue the ears together to close the bunny holder

5. Insert Eggs

Grab an easter egg and insert into the holder.
